"Kudos to Dr. G! You've successfully created another industry first - the personal hi-fi speaker!
Listening to foxL immediately transported me back emotionally in time to the moment I first heard an a/d/s/ L200 cc mini speaker.
Not only is the sound of the foxL detailed and extended in the upper eight octaves, but the level of tactile bass energy caught me by complete surprise. Something I'd normally associate with large floor standing speakers. My next PowerPoint presentation and hotel room stint will be much more fun with a foxL. Keep up the great work!"

"Lee, I am just back from the event where we gave out the sound systems (with iPads) and they were a huge hit! Thanks very much for being so easy to work with. I'm also really happy to have my own because now I know firsthand how amazing the sound is. It's already come in vey handy at home and in my travels. Thank you! I am spreading the word that yours is a great product!"
- E.R./Rosof Events, Chicago, IL (5/5/11)
"I wanted to say thank everyone there for designing a speaker with such a huge frequency range. (and fits in my pocket!) I'm an engineer and enjoy experiencing excellence in sound ($13,000 in my Corvette's system). I am amazed at the accuracy (and bass) that can be achieved in such a small package. Thank You for thinking outside the box of limits we were always taught."
- K.S., Silicon Valley, CA (1/8/11)
"Simply, this is the best portable speaker I've ever heard. LOVE IT! Am listening to it as I write this; superb fidelity, exactly as promised, and the hands-free calling is surprisingly amazing. Well worth the price & time to market. Believe this device is truly a marvel of engineering; art meets technology. Well done Sirs, well done!"
- J.M., Phoenix, AZ (12/16/10)
"My foxL arrived yesterday--all I can say is that it was definitely worth the wait! What an amazing little device. I charged it up and tried it out with my iPad -- fantastic sound! And the Blue Tooth pairing was totally automatic and instantaneous. I listened to my favorite Beethoven piano concerto, opera arias, Christmas carol, and watched a few TV shows on the iPad -- all sounded great. I'm very satisfied with this product."
- M.T., Chevy Chase, MD (12/11/10)
"To the SoundMatters Geniuses, OK, I waited until I didn't think I could wait any longer... I pined away in silent frustration hoping against hope that this little "speaker-thingy" could possibly be worth the crazy money and delay after delay.
I got the shipping notice yesterday and before I could get real excited it was here! One word: Wow!, Just, WOW! This unit rocks like nothing I've experienced in years. I cannot believe what comes out of that little, beautiful, unit! And the Bluetooth? It is flawless. The music from my iPhone is stunning. The speaker-phone capability is not just good... it is better than most of the purpose-built conference call systems you find in the best dressed boardrooms. This will go with me everywhere, always.
Honestly, I am a gadget geek, road warrior type who rarely writes this kind of fanboy-wall post, perferring instead to admire at a distance with smug self-satisfaction. You folks, though, deserve a balls-out "Well Done!" for this truly amazing piece of craftsmanship. Sirs, I am humbled... Cheers!"

"I received the foxlmb yesterday and I am very impressed with the fidelity. The dynamic range is very impressive. I don't know if you have ever heard of a song from the band Little Feat called "Fat Man in the Bathtub" but the intro to that song had a lot of highs and lows and separation and the foxlmb sounded outstanding! You have created a great product here and I plan to spread the word to my colleagues!."

"I've never made any sort of product recommendation or endorsement here before, but recently an item has grabbed my attention that I feel compelled to share with you. This journey began when I posted a query about "soundbars" for TV audio. Secondtimearound posted a strong recommendation for the quality of rigs produced by a company called "soundmatters:"
I cruised their website, and something else caught my attention; a tiny speaker, called the "FoxL," that fits in the palm of your hand, and promised audiophile quality sound when connected to a laptop or I-Pod. For more than a decade, my only computer has been a laptop. No matter how many bells & whistles they have, I’ve yet to find a laptop with anything but woefully inadequate speakers.
I placed an order online, and got follow-up calls and emails from staff who actually worked for the company, not some call center a continent or two away.
The FoxL, or "little critter," as I call it, arrived at my house this week. As soon as I took it out of the box, the heft of the unit convinced me I was holding a serious piece of equipment. I was BLOWN-AWAY by the sound quality. I hooked it up to my laptop, and suddenly internet radio, and sites like Wolfgang’s Vault, were streaming sound that rivaled the Infinity towers of my stereo system.
The Little Critter truly produces a mountain of sound, is portable, has an internal battery that can hold a charge for up to five hours, and may be charged via an AC adapter or a USB cable, both of which are supplied.
If you’re looking for something that can turn your laptop or I-Pod into a rockin’ stereo system, look no further!."
