Like the
MAINstage, it is a marvel of compact engineering,
combining ease of installation, small size, style,
power, and clean sound. It definitely blows away the
traditional rule that a subwoofer needs to be
expensive ($1000+), big and ugly (this unit proves
that they don't have to be big lumpy black boxes).
If you plan on dedicating a whole basement to a home theater,
for about the same price, buy three or four of these
and place them strategically around the room.
That would have a much bigger impact
than going for one gigantic subwoofer.”
